:: Vintage early 1950's mid century modern Eames Herman Miller fiberglass arm chair with the rare red "Designed by Charles Eames" Venice label and desirable color of parchment. Transitional generation that immediately followed the 1st generation rope edge chairs, still retaining the large shock mounts and sturdy solid X-base. Most of the labels fall off, so it's rather rare to see one in as good a shape as this one. Condition is good overall but seat portion and fiberglass edges do show some browning, especially worthy of note are the shock-mount shadows coming through on the seat of the chair.
