:: Likely one of a kind, this vintage 1970s is ultra cool and amazing not just because of its awesome Wes Anderson like look but also because of its content -- "Science for the People" depicted in a painted hand with closed fist next to hand extending a science beaker which seems to likely have been related to the Science for the People left wing organization that emerged from the antiwar culture in America in the 70s. Taken from Wikipedia: "The original group was composed of professors, students, workers, and other concerned citizens who sought to end potential oppression brought on by pseudoscience, or by what it considered the misuse of science. Science for the People generated much controversy in the 1970s for the radical tactics of some of its members." Seems to have some history attached to it and is quite an awesome looking piece that is also a unique school / science oddity! This artwork is painted atop an aluminum plate. Measures 6.5" x 11.75".
