Rug Talk Wednesdays: Kerman Rugs

Among our favorite types of Persian rugs - those made in the area of Kerman.  The city/area of Kerman has a very long and rich history in Persian rug weaving, with some of the most revered, rare and most expensive carpets being attributed to Kerman. 

To trace the great variety of Kerman rug production from the 1800's through today provides interesting insight to carpets even dating back to the 16th century.
