:: Allover covered field in botehs arranged in rows and columns of alternating direction and interior design fills of checkered lily, concentric diamond shapes, and running channels of water. Interior minor border in a reciprocating pawn motif, main border in a crab style simplistic geometric design element with inverted coloration. Asymmetric weight to the main field with nuanced design elements on the left path. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, chestnut, madder root rust, celadon green, saffron yellow, dusty gold, and more. Condition notes: Areas of foundation showing through with wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Mostly secure sides and ends. Three or four areas of localized mending to the foundation in addition to old signs of markering and touch-ups. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Caucasian square rug made in the Caucasus region circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 3'11" x 4'11".
