:: Highly detailed and highly nuanced allover covered field with medallions, serpents, pinwheel floral design elements, starburst design elements, animals, birds, all with fantastic coloration, contrast, tone-on-tone, and unique artistic merit. Colors and shades include: Navy blue black, ivory, madder root red, silver, oxidized silver, sand, black cherry red, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with foundation showing through. No interior holes, although one large split approximately eight inches on one end. Tatter to sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Caucasian rug made in the Caucasus region circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 3'9" x 5'1".
