:: Colorful and intricate classic Karaja carpet with center hook and latch main medallion buffered by mirror end medallions of squared contour atop a well balanced covered field of serrated leaves, germinating plants and floral cross sections. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, mallard green, navy blue, dusty gold, beige, blush, powder blue, wine red, pale coffee brown and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads and foundation with minor painting to the latter. Professionally restored polychrome side cord selvages and fully secured ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Karaja rug made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 4'7" x 6'2".
