:: Triple gul center medallion with stemmed buds bearing finned character atop an abrashed field wrapped by inner reciprocating wave and serpent design motif with main border in classic serrated leaves in geometric relief. Outer minor border in an alternating barber pole color fill with interior pomegranate top view. Colors and shades include: Ivory, navy blue, beige, indigo blue, denim blue, sand and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Melas rug made in Turkey circa 1970's vintage. Size measures 4'2" x 6'4".
