:: Single column gul motif with hook and latch contouring atop a field of starburst design elements, pinwheels, and geometric animal interpretations. Dated on either top end of the carpet, 1312, corresponding to roughly the 1930's. Colors and shades include: Indigo blue, charcoal black, navy blue black, antique ivory, brick red, terra cotta, sky blue, and more. Condition notes: Isolated areas of foundation showing through with oxidation to darker tones, mainly those in the charcoal brown family. Sides and ends secure with overcast. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted vintage Persian Afshar rug made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 1'10" x 3'6".
