Sharp serrated contour with running germinating plant motif atop a covered field of shrubs, pinwheels, starburst design elements, serrated leaves, agricultural implications, birds, and animal figures. A truly celebratory carpet with great symbolism. Colors and shades include: Dark navy blue, charcoal, seafoam blue, sky blue, ivory, madder root red, wine red, chestnut, oxidized silver, aubergine purple, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across with light foundation showing through. Old areas of darning and repairs. Fully secured ends and sides, one patched corner. One end measures slightly smaller at 5'8". Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Kamseh carpet made in Persia circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 6'1" x 8'3".
