:: Unusual allover repeating partial cloud band motif, simulating running channels of water with suggestive samovar / turtle design. Also reminiscent of a cloud band motif. Unusual oversized floral based main border with pinwheels and starburst design elements. Uncommon Laleh Abassi (reciprocating pawn motif) inner and outer minor borders. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, pale raspberry red, antique ivory, terra cotta, oxidized copper green, sky blue, blush, mallard green, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint, yet allover, foundation showing through. Original polychrome side cord selvages intact. Light loss to either end, though fully secured with an overcast stitch. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz carpet made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 9'4" x 13'4".
