:: Handmade Edison style lamp featuring an Edison bulb, crafted by Mike Clements of Mad Lab Lamps in Illinois. Consisting of solid oak wood and real copper coils (hand twisted and formed), with cloth covered cord and vintage style plug, the lamps of Mike Clements are truly a labor of love. His inspiration came from being a research scientist at a national laboratory where he worked on a particle physics experiment. He found a lot of the high energy equipment he was using had lovely aesthetic and shape, and it was the designs of these pieces of equipment that inspired the idea of the lamps to form with the thick copper giving the illusion that it is powering the light fixture. Size measures: 5" x 5" x 16". Lampshade not included.
