:: Concentric medallions with bursting floral bouquets and central pomegranate top view minor medallion. Adorned by trefoil shield-like finials on an abrashed main field. Corner spandrel overlays reciprocate the contour of the main medallion with similar floral design relief. Dragon style niche panels at either opposing end. Wrapped by a meandering vine palmette and lotus flower main border. Heavy abrashes across adding to dynamic and character. Colors and shades include: Brick red, madder root red, sand, ivory, charcoal, oxidized silver, turquoise blue, chestnut brown, copper, blush, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even short pile across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak carpet made in Turkey circa 1980's vintage. Size measures 7'3" x 11'3".
