:: Unusual asymmetric field with oversize medallions; one in elongated oblong shape, the other diamond / roundel in character. Field and design motif replete with starburst, pinwheel, and pomegranate design motifs. Colors and shades include: Coffee brown, sky blue, indigo blue, antique ivory, terra cotta, and dusty blush rose. Condition notes: Tatter to sides and ends, heavy foundation showing through with two small patches. Otherwise even wear across to knot heads. Slight irregularity to shape. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted antique Persian Kurdish rug runner made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 2'8" x 5'4".
