:: Oversized center medallion in classic Heriz area stylization featuring sharp bold contour and dramatic character atop an allover covered field of geometric vinery, serrated leaves, and oversized palmette finials. Harmonious coloration with excellent tone-on-tone, excellent oversized scale, and unique nuances throughout. Colors and shades include: Faded chestnut brown, madder root red, terra cotta, blush, faded navy, charcoal black, antique ivory, beige, sand, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads, isolated areas of foundation showing through. Light migration of red tones into the ivory. Measures 9' on one end, 9'8" on the other. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz carpet made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 9'8" x 12'5".
