:: Repeating germinating plant design motif double column covered field with interior alternating diamond shaped concentric minor medallions reciprocating the length with nuanced serpent minor inner border and checkered splayed geometric cross-sections throughout. Interior accents of birds, scattered throughout the field with an unusual geometric wide banded main border in a rainbow of coloration. Colors and shades include: Dusty teal, navy blue, sky blue, sapphire blue, cherry red, terracotta, copper, oxidized copper green, jade green, beige, and more. Condition notes: Wear across to foundation and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Reduction to outer minor border. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Malayer rug runner made in Persia circa 1910's vintage.
