:: Center stepped diamond shaped contour main medallion with classic Karaja outer minor medallions in mirrored relief atop a covered field of blossoms and geometric animals and birds. Wrapped by a starburst main border interconnected with ribboned coloration. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, chestnut brown, copper, dark emerald green, forest green, sky blue, pale saffron yellow, burgundy wine red, ivory, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Karaja rug made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 3'2" x 4'6".
