:: Single hexagonal stepped center medallion enveloped by thick banded vinery with scrolling ram's horn stylized tendrils. Field overlays reciprocate the contour of the main field ornamentation bearing alternating colored pinwheel starburst floral design elements. Colors and shades include: Pale terracotta, faded royal blue, sky blue, denim blue, coffee brown, mint green, pistachio green, dusty gold, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Melas rug made in Turkey circa 1980's vintage. Size measures 4'2" x 6'.
