:: Triple center medallion atop a covered field of scrolled mahi mahi design elements in geometric relief with germinating plants scattered throughout. Main border in a Serbend design meandering vine and minor boteh, with inner and outer minor borders in an interconnected, colorful repeating boteh design motif. High luster and sheen pile, imparting a silk-like appearance and great dynamic between light and dark sides. Colors and shades include: Madder root red, cobalt blue, ivory, coffee brown, beige, powder blue, sand, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Borchalou rug runner made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 3'3" x 6'.
