:: Slightly less common and highly refined multiple columns of repeating botehs in alternating inverted coloration running in parallel format. This design is said to symbolize the running channels of water, with interior botehs a representation of rebirth. Unique weaver nuances throughout in an otherwise workshop oriented rug production, although extremely well balanced with fantastic shades, and a splendid deep chestnut shaded main border with floral palmettes and highly detailed inner and outer minor border of delicate interconnecting vines with minor buds. Colors and shades include: Chestnut brown, rust, deep terra cotta, dusty sky blue, dusty powder blue, dark gold and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Qom carpet made in Persia circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 7'5" x 10'4".
