:: Interesting bag face, likely used for a salt bag or a saddle cover, with very small main field and paneled medallions with lattice outlines wrapped by reciprocating pawn inner minor border and wide banded meandering vine and floral design main border. Colors and shades include: Ivory, pink, dusty rose, coffee brown, dark chocolate brown, tangerine orange, and pale denim blue. Condition notes: Even low pile across. Fully secured sides and ends. Oxidation to the tips of the wool with brighter colors on the reverse side of the rug. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Malayer square rug mat made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 1'8" x 1'9".
