Exact age is uncertain, although based on accents and highlights, vivid cotton white and diagonal neutral spaces within the panels of the field being comprised of 5-10% silk, this piece is likely every bit of 150+ years old. Super fine wool, likely qork wool. Many areas of recessed pile, wear, darning, patches, and loose ends. Being sold as is as found splendor. Many years of enjoyment to come! Recently professionally cleaned, ready for in-home use! Size measures approximately 2'8" x 3'1".
