:: Hard to find size antique Lavar Kerman circa 1885 with super awesome allover Paisley boteh design with perfect amount of wear for pleasing distressed aesthetic. Shabby yet intact, this Persian rug is a gem!The repeating boteh design is said to be a woven interpretation of a cross-sectioned seed. Peering in as observers, we can see the inner workings - a small germinating plant symbolizing life and growth. Signed by weaver workshop top and center in an inscription cartouche. Recently professionally cleaned, fully secured sides with overcasting on either end. Measures 2'6" x 3'11".
