:: Intricate tribal/geometric Southwest Persian carpet with tightly woven details telling the story of the nomadic Qashqai people. Germinating plants and towering trees with ornate renderings of foliage, animals, people and "pinwheel" designs emulating a top view of fruits and pomegranates. This carpet is delicately finished with ribboned barber pole minor borders and reciprocating pawn design (Laleh Abassi). Colors include rich madder root red, tangerine orange, richly saturated indigo blue, ivory, charcoal, soft shades of teal blue, and greens throughout. Even wear across to knot heads. Fully secured sides and ends. New fringe planted into the structure of the carpet.Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this vintage hand knotted Persian Shiraz carpet woven circa 1930's. Exact size measures 7'3 x 9'5".
