:: Allover covered field in a mahi-mahi Herati design motif with clear detailing in the scrolled fish wrapped by stepped corner spandrels in inverted coloration. Inner minor border in a reciprocating pawn design motif and main border in a palmette meandering vine and pomegranate top view. Colors and shades include: Dusty brick red, deep terracotta, slate blue, oxidized silver, dusty teal, sky blue, powder blue, beige, sand, silver, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Localized areas of professional restoration in the spirit of the distressed process. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mahal carpet made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 10'5" x 12'11".
