:: Diamond shaped center medallion with scalloped contour and interior delicate floral design surrounding a minor cartouche shaped palmette. Adorned at either end by splayed floral finials, heavy abrashes to corner spandrel overlays which reciprocate the contour of the main medallion. Wrapped by an expressive serrated leaf and lotus flower main border. Colors and shades include: Cobalt blue, dark beige, sand, ivory and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple scattered areas of professional restoration. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 4'5" x 7'5".
