:: Hexagonal center medallion with slight asymmetric weight adorned at either end by minor finials. Partial Herati design motif throughout with slight offset and bird-like rendering as opposed to the classic mahimahi relief. Colors and shades include: Indigo blue, cobalt blue, cherry red, dusty teal, aubergine, chestnut brown, dark copper, tomato red, ivory and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end original plain weave fully intact. One end measures slightly more narrow than the other at 4'7" as opposed to 4'10", within normal margins for type and age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Bijar rug made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 4'10" x 7'7".
