:: Oversized center medallion with scrolling arabesques adorned at either end by trefoil contoured finials of blossoms bearing Mahi Mahi stylized germinating buds atop an open field with book cover stylized corner spandrel overlays reciprocating the contour of the main medallion. Colors and shades include: Dusty burgundy wine red, sky blue, ivory, beige, slate blue, dusty sea foam green, charcoal, jet black, and more. Condition notes: Wear across to foundation and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Machine bound ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Sparta carpet made in Turkey circa 1970's vintage. Size measures 7'4" x 10'8".
