:: Single roundel center medallion with concentric outer medallion in expressive scrolled and serrated contour adorned at either end by double tiered finials with floral fill palmette cross-sections atop an open field. Corner spandrel overlays in quarter map and inverted coloration to that of the main medallion, reciprocating the contour. Colors and shades include: Ivory, tomato red, tangerine orange, deep sky blue, powder blue, beige, sand, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple areas of restoration in varying levels of expertise. Minor loss to all four perimeters. This rug is ideally suited for an area deeper inside the home with moderate to low traffic. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Malayer rug made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 4' x 6'.
