:: Starburst center medallion with trefoil contoured finials. Long stemmed vines and blossoms cover the main field with inwardly directed corner spandrel overlays wrapped by a narrow banded main border of floral blossoms and arabesques. Unusual sand ground shade. Colors and shades include: Cochineal red, navy blue, ivory, sand, beige, sky blue, mallard green, pale coffee brown, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One side original selvage, not reduced in scale but ends have minor loss. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Kerman square rug mat made in Persia circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 1'11" x 2'8".
