:: Double concentric center medallions in diamond shape contour enveloped by hook-and-latch motif atop a covered field of serpents and pinwheel floral design elements. Main field overlay in a stepped and lightening serrated contour with seed design motif. Main border in a simplistic germinating plant cross-section. Colors and shades include: Madder root red, ivory, navy blue, pale tangerine orange, pale coffee brown, sand, beige, and more. Condition notes: Large areas of foundation showing through with wear across to knot heads. Tatter to sides and ends. Localized areas of repair and mending to splits and partial reweave to the interior. Light touch-up. Ideally suited for a moderate to lower traffic area deeper inside the home. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Afshar square rug made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 3' x 3'9".
