:: Starburst center medallion with outwardly directed floral palmettes adorned at either end by trefoil finials atop a covered field of repeating rows and columns of cartouches bearing germinating plants. Corner spandrel overlays reciprocate the contour of the main medallion in arabesque style relief, found within the overlapping leaves. Colors and shades include: Pale coffee brown, dark charcoal, antique ivory, and more Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Sivas carpet made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 8'10" x 11'2".
