:: Partial interpretation of a Harshang design motif with blossomed arabesques surrounding minor buds interconnected with floral cross-section thick banded vinery with contoured floral design elements. Colors and shades include: Sapphire blue, sky blue, madder root red, cherry red, mallard green, powder blue, saffron yellow, oxidized silver, burgundy, blush, dusty teal, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Signs of scattered old touch-ups mostly confined to the blue shade of the main field, as well as isolated restorations. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mahal carpet made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 8'11" x 11'9".
