:: Covered field in botehs arranged in alternating direction, partial offset rows each bearing their own interior germinating plant. Main border in a serrated leaf and floral top view design motif. Outer minor border in a reciprocating bulb floral germinating plant. Elegant design execution throughout, of specific note are the nuances in the border in addition to the striation and abrashes of the green ground shade. Colors and shades include: Cobalt blue, ivory, lime green, terracotta, madder root red, navy blue, chocolate brown, ocean green, faded royal blue, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Some contour to shape with minor bowing, within normal margin for type and age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Malayer rug runner made in Persia circa 1895-1910 vintage. Size measures 3'1" x 14'10".
