:: Double center medallion in diamond shape contour adorned at each corner with floral top view blossoms atop a heavily abrashed change of dye lot main field with great dynamic character and unique charm. Main border in a ribboned germinating plant meandering vine design motif. Colors and shades include: Beige, ruby red grapefruit, copper, dark chocolate brown, charcoal, dusty mauve, sand, seafoam green, pink, dusty pale teal and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Light reduction to a few knot rows on either end. Kindly note rugs of this type, age and size are not intended to be perfect - they are often woven in informal settings, on small wooden looms, which renders charming character and slightly irregular shape. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Kars rug mat made in Turkey circa 1970's vintage. Size measures 1'6" x 2'11".
