Wrapped by a main border in paneled cartouches with randomly alternating color fills. Serpents, birds, and animal life throughout. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, indigo blue, sapphire blue, chestnut brown, tangerine orange, saffron yellow, and more. Condition notes: Even original pile height across. Original side cord selvages intact. Fully secured sides and ends. Finer areas of recess to the pile from old but professionally cleaned moth nibbles. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Afshar carpet made in Persia circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 12'11" x 27'6".
