:: Shield like center medallion with lightning contoured diamond shaped blossoms and dramatic serrated scrolled vines stemming therefrom, encroaching atop a heavily abrashed main field. Corner spandrel overlays in quarter map relief of the very main medallion, also reciprocating the contour of same. Inner minor border in a serpent design. Shorn low, but not blanched and faded distressed. Colors and shades include: Rust, terracotta, faded royal blue, faded turquoise green blue, magenta, ivory, charcoal, oxidized silver, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug runner made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 2'9" x 5'6".
