:: Roundel center medallion in starburst formation. At opposing ends are decorative finials atop a covered field of scrolling vines and floral blossoms. Signature cartouche at the top main border, likely indicating the region in which the carpet was woven. Colors and shades include: Ivory, raspberry red, bubble gum pink, antique ivory, sand and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard areas of foundation showing through. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Meshed carpet made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 8'5" x 11'7".
