:: Repeating center column medallions each in varying scale and top medallion in shorter diamond shaped stepped contour atop a covered field of blossoms. Wrapped by a main field overlay of colorful bouquets. Colors and shades include: Dusty tomato red, dark navy blue, dusty charcoal, dusty teal, sapphire blue, beige, sand, ivory, pale tangerine orange, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Possible reduction to the perimeter. Some minor tatter to isolated areas of the selvage. One end is expertly rewoven, approximately three inches by fourteen inches. Two patches smaller than two by two inches. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Malayer rug runner made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 3'6" x 16'10".
