:: Fantastic original and authentic drawing in ink: elegant and real feeling street scene. A long and tall looming tree covers the sidewalk which is rich with plant life, ivy crawling up the building, and low lying windows with classic brick and panes. Lower right corner is dated September 9, 1962. Lower left indicates 'Washington News #56'. In slightly different ink, the work is inscribed bottom center with reading: 'To Sis (or Liz?) + Ed'. Ink on fine paper. Condition: Fair condition, two small tears to the right side and one on the bottom edge. Paper has toned to a goldeny brown. One corner with creases. Edges are not perfect, shows slight signs of handling. Multiple small holes throughout. Full size measures 10.5" x 13.5" and cropped, the dimensions would be slightly smaller.
