:: Oversized center medallion with large scale palmettes at either opposing end. Main field in sprawling scrolled vines in arabesque form finished in buds and blossoms. Main border in a serrated leaf and floral top view design motif. Colors and shades include: Ivory, pale rose, dusty teal, seafoam green, sand, beige, pale coffee brown, powder blue, cream, sapphire blue and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple areas of expert restoration. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Ahar carpet made in Persia circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 9'9" x 13'7".
