5x10 Vintage Distressed Bakhtiari Rug Runner
Print tear sheet:: Repeating covered field of panels bearing germinating plants and cypress trees arranged in diagonal orientation with lattice interior vines buffering. Main border in a cartouche stylized relief with germinating plants therein. Abrashes across. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, dusty denim blue, slate blue, beige, ivory, pale ruby red grapefruit and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Slight contour to shape, within normal margin for type and age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Bakhtiari rug runner made in Persia circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 5'2" x 9'11".
