6.5x9 Vintage Distressed Kars Carpet
Print tear sheet:: Oversized center medallion with floral design elements and intricate vines atop an abrashed ground. Corner spandrel overlays in floral arrangement loosely reciprocating the contour of the main medallion. Colors and shades include: Platinum, pale copper bronze, seafoam green and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple areas of professional restoration with a large rewoven area approximately 1' x 1' expertly performed. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Kars carpet made in Turkey circa 1970's vintage. Size measures 6'6" x 9'.
