2.5x5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug Runner
Print tear sheet:: Dual center panel design motif with top portion in a prayer design and lower bearing long stemmed germinating plants in simplistic relief. Minor germinating buds and blossoms in geometric drawing with meandering vine and blossom inner main, and outer minor borders. Colors and shades include: Pale faded cherry red, mint green, chocolate brown, ivory, platinum, seafoam green and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Some minor localized but eased-in oxidation. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug runner made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 2'6" x 5'.
