4.5x8 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug
Print tear sheet:: Concentric geometric stepped center medallions wrapped by multi-borders and ribboned geometric vine design elements. End field overlay niche in classic centuries old dragon stylized reciprocating design format. Colors and shades include: cream, antique ivory, beige, sand, dusty rose and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One side measures 7'11" whereas the opposing measures 8'2". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1970's vintage. Size measures 4'7" x 8'2".
