:: Allover covered Herati motif, partially floating within the field as light neutral spacing showing through on either side. Excellent weaving throughout, including the diminutive minor inner border showcasing the full range of colors in small rectangles atop an ivory stripe which is a unique touch of the weaver. Colors and shades include: Indigo blue, sky blue, blush, madder root red, forest green, coffee brown, wine red, powder blue, and silver. Condition notes: Mostly even short pile across with some minor areas closer to the center showing knot heads. A few 'white knots' and warps surfaced through the face of the pile: rather common for the type. Fully secured sides and ends with some signs of use on the edges and corners. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Bijar rug made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 4'8" x 7'2".
