5x7 Antique Northwest Persian Rug

:: Hexagonal concentric center medallions with primitive geometric relief adorned at either end by oversized palmettes wrapped by a rainbow meandering vine and blossom main border. Colors and shades include: Brick red, sky blue, faded royal blue, ivory, tangerine orange, blush, ruby red grapefruit, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple repairs in varying degrees of expertise. One repair easily seen on the face approximately 2" x 4". One end measures 4'8" whereas the opposing measures 4'11". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. Slight contour to shape with minor bowing, also within normal margins for type and age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Northwest Persian rug made in Persia circa 1920's vintage.
