2.5x3.5 Vintage Isfahan Rug
Print tear sheet:: Covered field of floral blossoms, vines, palmettes, and serrated leaves. Very high knot count with the vertical knot count approximately 19, horizontal 23, knots per square inch approximately 435 plus or minus. A very soft kork wool. Colors and shades include: Ivory, cream, beige, brick red, sky blue, powder blue, pale coffee brown, dusty teal and more. Condition notes: Mostly even short pile across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Some faint patina and slight contour. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Isfahan rug made in Persia circa 1970's vintage. Size measures 2'8" x 3'7".
