2.5x4.5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Oversized center medallion with interior floral bouquet wrapped by a seed design motif adorned at either end by minor floral petal blossoms atop an open field with stepped corner spandrels loosely reciprocating the contour of the main medallion. Outer minor border in a meandering vine design motif, with interior border in a alternating color fill and directional boteh design motif. Colors and shades include: Dusty mauve, pale sage green, olive green, dusty aubergine, dark chocolate brown, dusty powder blue and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1970's vintage. Size measures 2'8" x 4'7".
