2.5x4.5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Diamond shaped center medallion with finned blossoms stemming therefrom atop a heavily abrashed main ground with corner spandrel overlays loosely reciprocating the contour of the main as quarter map renderings and partial inverted coloration of same. Colors and shades include: Dusty rose, dusty black cherry red, ivory, antique ivory, silver, dusty teal, dusty gold, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Slight contour to shape, within normal margin for type and age. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1970's vintage. Size measures 2'5" x 4'7".
