11.5x13.5 Vintage Peking Carpet

:: Super soft long staple wool with high sheen and luster, silk-like in character. Colors and shades include: Copper, pale rust, cobalt blue, indigo blue, dark beige, sand, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even pile height across. Original side cord selvages intact. Fully secured sides and ends. One inch area of the side cord selvage missing. One small tear to the lower right corner, approximately 1.5 inches, which will be repaired prior to dispatch. Main field exhibiting oxidation and fade mainly isolated to the center. Oxidation to reverse side of carpet. One area of knot heads showing, approximately 1x1 feet, and another that is approximately 6x6 inches. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Chinese Peking carpet made in China circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 11'5" x 13'3".
